Insurance companies have been known to try to do this for years but it’s rare they do it with a Law Firm. They usually try to do it with car accident victims not represented. They do this to take advantage of them because they know if the car accident victim even gets medical treatment a couple weeks, the value of the case can go up drastically. Don’t fall for this trap.
