Tailgate car accident | Driving Tips

We get it. You are in a rush. Or you are having a bad day. So you start getting really close to the driver in front of you……🫠

Tailgating causes a ton of car accidents every year.

This is especially true in city areas like Houston.

There is a ton of traffic in Houston, and if you leave enough space in front of you, someone will likely cut you off to take the space. This causes many drivers to get a little closer than they should.

All of a sudden there is a traffic build up you don’t realize and you rear end the car in front of you. Or, something unexpected, like another accident happens ahead of you causing everyone to brake.

Giving yourself more than enough time to get to your destination is always helpful. Besides, we all know if you are early you can check your phone while in the parking lot ;).
