2. If they take too long you have two options, see if your insurance can get you one or continue to follow up with the at fault insurance company as much as possible.
3. Remember, by the loss of use law, you are entitled to a rental vehicle or the cost of one for each day you do not have access to your vehicle.
4. Keep in mind, if the insurance company says your vehicle is totaled, technically they do not need to give you a rental or the cost of one once they state that to you. However, they do still need to give you a rental or the cost of one for the days you were waiting for them to tell you that.
