Minor impact car accidents can still cause injuries | Insurance Tactics

“You can’t be hurt because the car accident was minor impact” 🤔🚗

Insurance companies LOVE to use this defense. In fact, even when the car accident is not minor impact they LOVE to use this defense.

For a car accident victim this can be a very discouraging thing to hear from the insurance company. They receive a call from the adjuster or a letter in the mail, or both, telling them “Because your car accident was minor impact we will only allow ❌ amount of dollars for medical treatment….”. Sometimes they will tell you they won’t allow any 💰 for medical treatment.

THIS IS A LIE.

INSURANCE COMPANIES KNOW THIS. BUT they don’t care, because the fact of the matter is, many car accident victims will believe them and then not take their injuries seriously. Once the accident victim decides not to take their injuries seriously, they end up taking a very low offer in the beginning of the case or they let things drag on without ever resolving the matter. Furthermore, what tends to happen a lot is, the accident victim is still hurt months down the road, but now it’s too late to pursue medical treatment because they waited too long to get it all documented. Please know, I am not referring to a statute of limitations here, which is 2 years in Texas, I am referring to the Insurance company being given another reason not to pay. They will say “Well you waited to long to get treatment so how do we know you didn’t get hurt doing something else and now you are trying to blame it on the car accident that happened several months ago?”.

DONT LET THE INSURANCE COMPANY fool you into thinking your injuries don’t have value. Whether your injuries are minor or major, you still have a case. The type of impact your vehicle sustained does not dictate how much injuries you have.
